Daniela Di Lisio was born in 1990 and lives in Milan. She graduated from School for Interpreters and Translators of Forlì (previously SSLMIT) and after winning a scholarship to study at ISIT of Paris, she obtained a master’s degree in Comparative Literature at the Sorbonne Nouvelle and a master in Publishing. She lived in London for a few years and after working in the Italian publishing industry for Atlantyca Entertainment and Vicki Satlow Literary Agency, she now works as a translator and editor for some publishing houses and agencies in Italy and abroad. She has won a few literary prizes whit her short stories and she was one of the translators selected for the Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi 2020 with the novel La vita (divertentissima) di Leonardo by Cécile Alix.
